My Experience

Where I got it: I bought it at the La Mercerie booth at Vogue Knitting Live. Biches et Buches has since sent me a sweater quantity as yarn support.

Needles I used: Hiya Hiya US 4/3.5 mm

Blocked Gauge I got: 24 sts/36 rows = 4"/10 cm

My Thoughts: Pretty sure I dreamed about this yarn before I discovered it. A rustic woolen spun lambswool might just be the most “me” yarn I’ve ever worked with and I’m completely smitten. I requested a sweater quantity right away and am already plotting a yoke cabled thing that I am super excited about. I now want to try all their yarns.

FYI, lambswool is the very first shearing. It’s extra soft not only because it comes from young animals but because only one of the ends has ever been cut. It’s so special!

What I might design with it: Like I said, a yoke sweater is on its way! Just gotta get through the rest of my queue, but I really, really can’t wait!

Where you can get some: Check your local yarn shop or grab some on the Biches et Buches website.
