My Experience
Where I got it: I bought it at Fancy Tiger Crafts
Needles I used: Hiya Hiya US 5/3.75 mm
Blocked Gauge I got: 23 sts/34 rows = 4"/10 cm
My Thoughts: This one surprised me! I think I was expecting it to be pretty similar to a Shetland wool - super lofty and crunchy - but it's denser with a buttery smooth quality. It's not super soft, but it bloomed really beautifully into a very cozy fabric. That Lincoln gives it lustre and the Rambouillet makes it bouncy. And I love the heathered grey! Plus, this is a very special yarn because it was grown and processed entirely in Colorado, which makes it a wonderful souvenir from my trip to Fancy Tiger.
What I might design with it: I'd love a hat and mitts set with some interesting texture.
Where you can get some: On the Fancy Tiger website or in their amazing brick-and-mortar store. (It's a pilgrimage spot for sure! Such a fantastic space!)
