My Experience

Where I got it: Harrisville sent it to me to try for this blog.

Needles I used: Hiya Hiya US 4/3.5 mm

Blocked Gauge I got: 23 sts/36 rows = 4"/10 cm

My Thoughts: What an incredible yarn. It’s soft and lofty and with so much depth to the colour. I worked it at a snug gauge, but I also heard from a lot of folks who work it at more of a worsted weight gauge. I’m really in love with this one, but then I always adore Cormo. Oh, and it’s grown and manufactured entirely in the US. Please look at Whitney Haywards’s incredible collection of designs in this yarn.

What I might design with it: I want all the things - sweaters of every kind, very cable-y hats, leg warmers? Scarves, shawls, mitts.

Where you can get some: Try your local yarn shop or get it on the Harrisville website.
