My Experience
Where I got it: Stone Wool sent me a skein after I requested one for this review.
Needles I used: Hiya Hiya US 8/5 mm
Blocked Gauge I got: 14.5 sts/22 rows = 4"/10 cm
My Thoughts: Squish! This is a really spongy, substantial yarn that makes a thick, soft fabric. I love that the fabric has a lot of structure, but doesn't feel to stiff. Check out the video below to really see what this knits up like. Another note - this yarn is made in the USA and the label actually includes specific info about which state each part of the process - growing, spinning, dyeing - was done in. I really appreciate yarns with this much sourcing info, and I love that I can support American wool and industry by using this gorgeous stuff.
What I might design with it: Cardigan! Probably slightly cropped with knit/purl details because I have no doubt the stitch definition will pop!
Where you can get some: Twig and Horn website (which also carries my fave wool soap, called Twig and Horn Wool Soap. It's got lanolin and smells divine!)
