Butchart Gardens Flower Photos!
Intensely vibrant red-orange flowers that look to me like roses but I think aren’t at Butchart Gardens
After living on Vancouver Island for years, I’ve finally gotten myself to Butchart Gardens and it sure is impressive! I had a really fun time photographing flowers and that’s pretty much all this blog post is going to be. Since they’re mostly garden plants rather than the natives I know, I’m not going to include names. If you know them, I’d love to hear in the comments. Enjoy!

The most intense magenta hydrangeas I’ve ever seen.
I love photographing native plants, but I will admit being in an ornamental garden was a sort of playground - so much drama everywhere! The colours were intense and my camera could hardly capture them. It was so fun!
This pale pink trumpet-shaped flower was as big as my head.
Sweet gradients or yellow, orange, and pink were set off so beautifully agains their green leaves.

Yes, there were pollinators all over the flowers, and yes, I had to tear myself away so my companions could move on to the next garden.
