Cowl Style

In my last post I shared some cowls I love to wear and told you how my neutral Botanical Sampler in Gauge Dye Works yarn is maybe my most worn knit ever. Here’s a video showing why. It goes perfectly with all my coats! Go rustic and squishy, sporty, or classic — they all look great with very little fuss.

Botanical Sampler is a great stash buster if you don’t have the Gauge yarn on hand. Just grab about 85 yards/80 m each of five different colours and you’re set. Go find your shawl leftovers and use this tutorial to figure out out much yarn is in those little scrap balls. The pattern is super versatile so if you happen to be a few yards short of one, you can just make it up in another section to get your desired circumference.

The sweater I’m wearing in the video is Seablush in Farmer’s Daughter Soka’pii, another one of my most worn knits.
