July 2024 Club Reveal!

Time to reveal the Second Summer surprise!

Here’s the July, 2024 pattern!

The Turkey Tail Cowl takes inspiration from spectacular mushrooms that form on logs in our backyards and forests. Simple but mesmerizing lace stitch patterns are worked in a rectangle, then seamed in a clever way to create a faux triangle shawl shape that’s easy to toss on to elevate any outfit. This is the kind of project you’ll want to knit while relaxing in your hammock on a sunny day or while taking a beach stroll. The unpredictable colour changes and easy-to-memorize lace pattern will have you knitting just one more row.

🍄 What you’ll love about this project:

  • Self-striping yarn combines with lace motifs to make a gently ruffled look inspired by turkey tail mushrooms

  • The stitch patterns and construction are straightforward and meditative.

  • Clear instructions on how to use the self-patterning yarn and a colour map showing you what to expect from your skein.

  • Printer-friendly pattern with lots of helpful extras.

  • Bonus — the pattern is perfect to use again with those special skeins of variegated, self-striping, and semi-solid sock yarns you’ve got in your stash .

If you love to knit with company, don’t forget to join us on Ravelry!

And join us on Thursday, August 8 for an Instagram Live! We’ll chat about the July design and the upcoming August project.
