June 2024 Club Reveal!

Time to reveal the first Summer surprise!

Here’s the June, 2024 pattern!

The Dahlia Socks are a celebration of those gorgeous cultivated flowers that pop out from between the weeds in maybe-neglected gardens. They’re worked top-down with a sweet flower “stem” along the ribbed leg. Peek under the sole of the foot and you’ll find precious details: an unusual diamond-shaped gusset and delicate tiny colourwork pops. The main attraction, of course, is the gradient pink and orange blossom extravagantly adorning the toes!

🌸 What you’ll love about this project:

  • Mesmerizing gradient yarn that shifts from the cuff to the toe, with contrasting colour yarn that pops.

  • Design elements that are beautiful and functional like the ribbed leg and gusset.

  • Just enough colourwork at the toes to make it exciting without being too much.

  • Clear instructions on how to use the self-patterning yarn and a colour map showing you what to expect from your skein.

  • Printer-friendly pattern with lots of helpful extras.

  • Bonus — the pattern is a great vanilla sock template that you can use over and over again with those special skeins of fingering weight yarn in your stash. Just leave out the stem and colourwork if you need something a little more mindless.

If you love to knit with company, don’t forget to join us on Ravelry!

Catherine and I chatted live about the yarn and pattern on Insta. You can watch it here!
