My Experience

Where I got it: Amano sent me a sample skein.

Needles I used: Addi Click US 13/9 mm

Blocked Gauge I got: 10.5 sts/16 rows = 4"/10 cm

My Thoughts: This yarn is so fun and soft! It knits up quickly in chubby, lofty stitches. The construction of a spidery cage of silk filled with puffy alpaca means you get a blend of fibres that are usually quite heavy and draping in a yarn that's surprisingly light. And of course with that fibre blend it's incredibly soft with a fluffy halo and shine.

What I might design with it: I designed a brioche/lace scarf that's coming soon and I'd love to have a cowl out of this. Anything right next to my skin!

Where you can get some: Amano is distributed by Berroco, so if your LYS carries Berroco, check to see if they have Amano yarns too.
