My Experience
Where I got it: Fibre Co. sent me a sample skein.
Needles I used: Hiya Hiya sharps US 7/4.5 mm
Blocked Gauge I got: 16.5 sts/29 rows = 4"/10 cm
My Thoughts: This yarn is an unusual combination in that it has the look of a very classic tweed, but it's incredibly soft and cuddly.
What I might design with it: I crocheted a very simple beanie for my husband and he's been wearing it under his bike helmet all winter. The surface of the fabric has gotten a bit fuzzy, but not pilly and he loves it. (When this yarn first arrived, he said it was the coolest yarn he'd ever seen, so I think this color, Cronan, could be a great one for the fellas.) I really want a cardigan with a big, cozy collar - this needs to be right on my skin.
Where you can get some:
P.S. I heard there's a new lighter weight version of this yarn coming soon!
