My Experience
Where I got it: I bought it at Twisted in Portland.
Needles I used: Addi Turbo 2.5 mm needles; held double: Hiya Hiya US 3/3.25 mm
Blocked Gauge I got: 33 sts/48 rows = 4"/10 cm; held double: 22 sts/38 rows = 4 in/ 10 cm
My Thoughts: This is one of those sock yarns that's super soft and gooey (in a good way!) It's kind of loosely plied and the fibre is so slippery that it's got a ton of drape. I love this intense pink color.
What I might design with it: I bought it to hold double and knit myself a PussyHat. I sent the one I made to the Women's March in DC, but I want one to keep too and this pink spoke to me. I think this is ideal for something that'll be worn right next to the skin. Malabrigo has some super saturated colors, so this is a great choice for a neck accessory that you want to pop with bright color. I would probably not make an adult garment out of this because I think it's likely to just get longer and longer over time.
Where you can get some: Ravelry-listed stockists. Tons of LYS's carry Malabrigo.
