My Experience
Where I got it: The Yarn Collective sent it to me for this project.
Needles I used: Hiya Hiya US 7/4.5 mm
Blocked Gauge I got: 19 sts/28 rows = 4"/10 cm
My Thoughts: Hudson has a pretty tight twist with a lot of plies, which makes it strong with amazing stitch definition, but the yak content means that it's much lighter than I expected. Given the look of the skein & the Merino fibre content, I expected it to be weighty and to drape a lot. But it actually floats more than it drapes - it's super lofty.
It was curated by Michele Wang, and she created a really lovely palette of colors.
What I might design with it: I'm dying for a sweater in this, and I need to try some textured stitches with it. I think it would be amazing in some knit/purl texture!
