Top Five Twinkle Projects
So Many Options!
It’s Twinkle Week here, a perfect opportunity to plan for some fun holiday knitting. Add some joyful stripes to your queue with Gauge Dye Works’ limited Twinkle yarn. Here are some project ideas!
Saxe Point Socks, special Twinkle edition: The Saxe Point pattern now includes a bonus holiday light colourwork motif that can be used instead of the floral motif from the original pattern. (The pattern still has the original chart, so it’s like getting two patterns in one!) Plus, I made a duplicate stitch tutorial to help you make your socks extra cheery!
Festive Colour Blocked Full Spectrum Toque: The five-stripe edition of Twinkle is perfect to make a bold reversible toque.
Bright Botanical Sampler Cowl: With five equal colour block sections, Twinkle will be an exact match for my Botanical Sampler pattern. I think this makes a perfect gift.
Celebrate Chevrons with my Slanted Stripes cowl: Slanted Stripes is a perfect pattern for self-striping yarn and I think either the colour-block or small-striped versions of Twinkle would look beautiful. Just pick which one suits your style.
Relax with a beautifully basic pair of Checklist Socks: Use A Checklist of Birds sock pattern without the charts for socks that you can pick up and put down for a few moments of peace throughout the busy season. I did it recently with Gauge’s Solar System yarn and I think it would be great with Twinkle too!
